Robotics Coach · VEX Competition
Max brings five consecutive seasons of provincial and world championship experience to the next generation of builders.
Max has competed in VEX since elementary school, reaching the Provincial Championships and the World Championship in five consecutive seasons. In 2026, he became the VRC Push Back Middle School World Champion and Math Division Champion with Team 10012Y.
His experience spans VEX IQ and VRC, including a third-place Robot Skills finish at the 2024 World Championship and an Innovate Division Championship in 2022. He now competes with Team 1010Y.
Max is funny, reliable and especially good with younger students. At BRS, he coaches VRC team training and season planning, teaches mechanisms, building and programming, and helps students develop their engineering notebooks. Outside robotics, he enjoys music and engineering, with a goal of studying engineering at MIT.
