Membership
Belong. Build. Go Further.
An annual student membership, supported by family and shaped by a shared commitment to learning. Discover what it means to join the BRS community.
Membership Overview
Membership connects one student, their family, and an annual program community. The membership year runs from September 1 to August 31; mid-year applications depend on the remaining program and available resources.
Who Membership Is For
The student is the member. Each student needs a separate application; parents and guardians are registered family contacts, not Society members solely through the student’s participation.
Key Benefits
Annual fees normally support:
- Scheduled training and designated open practice
- One annual training season
- Reasonable use of shared equipment and standard consumables
- One basic team uniform per student
- Community activities
Our Community Values
Teamwork, responsibility, preparation, and safe participation guide our community. Families stay connected while students develop independence through regular practice.

Annual Fees
Calculated by family; each student holds a separate membership.
| Students in family | Annual fee |
|---|---|
| 1 | $2,000 |
| 2 | $3,600 |
| 3 | $4,800 cap |
| 4+ | Board review |
Mid-year fees are determined case by case. See the full Membership Policy for payment, equipment, withdrawal, refund, trial-credit, and exclusion details.
Read Membership Policy v2.6 →Before You Apply
Review the published policies for membership, privacy, safe participation, and family acknowledgments. These versions are effective September 1, 2026 for the 2026–2027 membership year.
Photo and media permission is separate and optional; submitting a Membership Application does not grant photo or video consent.
Understand the Process →Acceptance & Registration
Membership begins after BRS accepts the application, confirms program registration and payment arrangements, and confirms any other requirements. Applying alone does not enroll a student, reserve a seat, collect payment, create Parent Portal access, or guarantee placement.
Family Participation & Governance
Families support communication, attendance, student independence, and practical community needs when circumstances allow. There is no fixed annual volunteer-hour quota as a standard membership threshold.
Student Members are currently non-voting: membership does not confer governance votes, director-election rights, or a board seat.
Access & Separate Costs
Confirmed program registration determines the training context. Access depends on program fit, capacity, facility hours, supervision, reservations, inventory, and reasonable-use limits.
External competition fees, travel, accommodation, extra team costs, special or personal equipment, and one-to-one extra training are separate.
Competition Participation
A competition-development pathway is not guaranteed team placement, event registration, a starting role, driving or operating time, or participation in every match.
Coaches and program leads assess readiness, attendance, preparation, teamwork, responsibility, maturity, safety, conduct, team needs, and competition rules.
