Timothy brings experience from both sides of the competition field: building and driving robots, and helping events run.
Timothy is a student at Sentinel Secondary in West Vancouver and has competed in VEX robotics since 2022. He has qualified for the VEX Robotics World Championship three times, and in February 2026 his team won the High School Robot Skills Championship at the Mecha Mayhem Showcase.
Since 2022, Timothy has also worked as a referee, head referee, judge and scorekeeper, contributing more than 50 hours to event officiating. That experience gives him a practical understanding of both competing in a match and running one.
At BRS, he coaches robot structure, testing and iteration, driving skills, autonomous runs and match strategy, and supports event operations. Outside robotics, he swims year round at provincial level and holds a Karate Canada national gold medal.
